About me

I'm a UI/UX designer working at the intersection of technology, storytelling, and public space. I ran a creative studio, Seven Mile Media, where I led design and strategy on projects spanning product design, UX research, data visualization, animation, and interactive/immersive content. My work explores how systems, visuals, and narratives can build effortless and effective interfaces that convey purpose.
Design Experience
- UX design with a strong foundation in usability and accessibility
- Data visualization as a storytelling tool
- Rapid prototyping and user testing to validate ideas
- Creating systems and interfaces that feel intuitive and purposeful
I also make interactive art and code-driven experiments that explore play, emotion, and human-machine interaction. While these projects live a bit outside my day-to-day UX work, they shape how I think about technology, user engagement, and the edges of what design can do.
Creative Experience
I come from a background in journalism and filmmaking, with a master’s in Design and Technology from Parsons—an unconventional path that shaped the way I approach creative work today. My practice spans multiple disciplines and formats, from UX and product design to data visualization, animation, and immersive storytelling. This cross-functional foundation has given me a perspective that’s hard to replicate: one that merges editorial thinking with systems design, always grounded in empathy for the user. I bring a story-first approach to every project, using narrative and visual strategy to inform critical decisions and create experiences that resonate.
